Check-Out Service
At the end of the tenancy period our experienced Inventory Clerk will re-visit the property to carry out a “Check-Out” inspection. The inspection is carried out with the Inventory report as well as a record of any intermediate inspection changes advised by the Letting Agent or Landlord since the “Check-in.”
We will note the significant changes to the conditions and standard of cleaning taking into account the condition at the start of the tenancy, the length of the tenancy period and make allowances for fair, wear and tear etc., in the “Check-Out” report.
A recommendation will be made to the Landlord and Tenant to agree either appropriate remedial work, a suitable level of financial compensation or where the value of the damage is significant or cannot be readily ascertained, a recommendation that specialist quotes are obtained before the dispute is referred to arbitration.
Cleaning is often a major area of dispute. Landlords and Tenants are advised to retain all cleaning receipts and repairs carried out during the tenancy period.
